THE HALYARD 25 · N347HJ · FIXED FOR 24 MONTHS

Twenty-five hours, one number

A jet card is a promise about the future, and most of them are written so you can’t read it. This one fits on a card because everything it promises is on this page: the rate, the tail, the tax, the twelve peak days — dated — and the arithmetic for whether you should buy it at all.

What it costs, all-in

The number the brochure saves for the closing call

25 hours × $6,200 is $155,000. The 7.5% federal excise tax applies to card purchases too, which makes it $166,625 all-in — printed here, on the page that sells it. Fuel is included; the rate cannot move for 24 months.

  • Guaranteed availability with 48 hours' notice, 365 days
  • Fixed hourly rate for 24 months — fuel included
  • No repositioning inside California, Nevada and Arizona
  • Peak days: 12 a year, printed on the card, +15% and never a surprise

The fine print, at full size

Four terms — that’s all of them

One aircraft, one number

25 hours on N347HJ, our Phenom 300E, at a fixed rate for 24 months — fuel included. Not "access to a category". The tail you fly is the tail on this page.

The excise is on top, and printed

The 7.5% federal excise tax applies to card purchases the same as to charters. The brochure genre leaves it to the closing call; ours is in the total below the card.

Hour 26 is a charter

When the card runs dry, flying doesn't stop — it re-prices. Hours past 25 bill at the pay-as-you-go rate, with the same daily minimum everyone else pays. No auto-renewal, no top-up you didn't ask for.

Twelve peak days, no surprises

Peak days bill +15% — and they are listed on this page, all twelve, dated. If a day isn't on the list, it isn't peak. That is the entire policy.

Your 24 months, priced both ways

The card genre’s calculator always proves the card — usually by charging only the hours you fly, as though the other twenty didn’t cost anything. Ours charges the whole card, because that is what you buy, and then names the winner — whichever it is.

Pay as you go wins these 24 months by $22,200.00. The card is not the cheap way to fly and this page won’t pretend it is — at your rate of flying, most of it would expire unflown. What the premium buys is certainty: a rate that cannot move for 24 months, the aircraft guaranteed at 48 hours’ notice, and peak days that are dated, not discovered.

The 7.5% federal excise tax applies to both columns alike, so it cancels out of the choice — it's printed on whichever quote you end up taking. Hours bill in tenths, as charter does — every multiplication above reproduces its own total.
