Nine Fathom
Our own premium golf apparel brand — full store, membership, and brand world.
Nine Fathom is ours end to end. A golf apparel brand built around the albatross — the rarest shot in golf — with a full collection, product pages, a members' list, and a story drawn from The Rime of the Ancient Mariner. We designed the identity and built the store.

The idea
Three under par on a single hole. That's an albatross — rarer than a hole-in-one. Nine Fathom is our own apparel brand built around that shot. The problem it solves is plain: most golf clothes read as gym wear, and you change out of them the moment the round ends. We wanted pieces that carry the sport quietly — an embroidered crest, a seabird at the sleeve — and still work at dinner.
The build
We built the whole thing: name, crest, story, and store. The name comes from The Rime of the Ancient Mariner — a spirit nine fathom deep that guarded the albatross — and the site retells that story. Around it we designed a homepage that moves from the flagship piece to the collection, product pages with multi-angle galleries and size selection, a bag and checkout, a crest section that decodes the mark, a lookbook, and a Members' List signup.
What shipped
A working store, live today. Visitors shop the collection — pullovers, polos, outerwear, tees, headwear, bags, and footwear — read fabric and fit details on each piece, pick a size, and add to bag. They can trace the crest symbol by symbol, follow the brand's retelling of the Rime, browse the lookbook, and join the Members' List for first word on new pieces and restocks. Shipping, returns, and a size guide back it all up.

Worth noticing
- Coleridge's Rime of the Ancient Mariner retold as its own site chapter
- A crest section that explains every symbol in the mark
- Multi-angle product galleries on every piece
