Relleno

The tortilla is the same everywhere. What matters — the only thing that matters — is the filling.

La tortilla es la misma en todos lados. Lo que importa es el relleno. — A fictional restaurant — not a real business. A design demonstration by Isolume.

The house signature

Your receipt prints before your burrito.

Build it step by step. Every price sits on the button before your finger gets there, and the total below is the register’s — Fullerton sales tax included, to the cent.

Arma lo tuyo paso por paso — la cuenta es la del mostrador, centavo por centavo.

1The basela base
2The fillingel relleno — the part that named the shop
3The free stufflo gratis — printed at zero on purpose

A zero you can read is a promise. A zero that never appears is a rumor. Un cero que puedes leer es una promesa.

4The upchargeslo que cuesta — priced before you tap

Guacamole costs $2.75, and it says so here — not once you're committed at the register.

5To drinkde tomar — the free one gets the same typography

Tap water prints its $0.00 — free, gladly. See the house rules below.

Colour here means heat.

All four are free. Colour on this page means heat — nothing else.

Las cuatro son gratis. El color en esta página significa picante — nada más.

La Frescatomatillo crudo, aguacate

the starting rung — bites about as hard as a joke

La Diariajitomate asado, chile guajillo

the everyday one — warms, doesn't punish

La Bravachile de árbol, ajo quemado

now you feel it — order it knowingly

What we won’t do

Three things this house doesn’t sell.

No delivery apps.

A burrito loses in 25 foil-wrapped minutes what the plancha took eight to give it — and the apps keep up to thirty cents of every dollar. That money stays in the avocado instead. Takeout, gladly: order, walk over, it's hot.

Apps de reparto, no.
There is no secret menu.

Everything we sell is on the wall with its price on it. If a place has prices it doesn't publish, ask yourself who's paying them.

Menú secreto, no hay.
Tap water is free.

With ice, with lime, no attitude. The horchata is $3.25 and worth it — but nobody here will make ordering water feel like a downgrade.

El agua de la llave es gratis.

DESIGN DEMO · ISOLUME

A fictional restaurant, drawn to show what yours could look like.

Hours & the visit

The plancha runs until 1 AM.

Mon – Wed11 AM – 10 PM
Thu – Sat11 AM – 1 AM
Sunday11 AM – 9 PM

Thursday through Saturday we close at 1 AM, because downtown Fullerton is still hungry at midnight — and whoever walks in at 12:40 eats exactly what the 1 PM crowd ate. La plancha aguanta hasta la 1.
